Available Courses

Course Requirements

In order to access and complete Tec-NQ's online training you must have access to a current email address to enrol and pay.

Note that SPAM filters can often trap messages from automated systems.  Always check your SPAM folder when an email message does not arrive.

The following hardware and software is recommended.

  • Computer and Internet Access
  • Web Browser (Internet Explorer or equivalent) with Flash
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Outlook or another email program
  • Acrobat Reader (If you do not have Acrobat Reader you can download this program free by clicking here.)

Note that users that are operating on Dial-up connections may expect delays in loading of the program based on the bandwidth provided by your service provider.

Program Completion Timeframes

Programs are designed to be completed within 14 days of enrolment.

Tec-NQ will issue feedback and assessment results accordingly. Once you have reached competency Tec-NQ will issue your Statement of Attainment.

You may be required to collect your certificate, license or permit from Tec-NQ's Douglas office as some require signing before issue (the White Card is an example of this.)

Security and Identification

To ensure that the person who has registered for the course completes the course you are required to complete documentation to verify this. The documentation required to be completed is as follows.

Witness Declaration
- A person must witness you completing the online course
- This person must not be a relative or reside at the same residence as the person carrying out the course
Justice of the Peace Declaration
- A declaration stating that you have completed this course must be signed in front of a Justice of the Peace and signed by a Justice of the Peace
- A copy of your driver’s licence must be presented with this declaration and signed by a Justice of the Peace
